Eddie Carney is in his second year as Resident Music Director at Mercury Summer Stock. Raised at Rabbit Run Theater in Madison, Eddie has music directed and accompanied numerous productions including Seussical, Ragtime, Cinderella, Little Women, How to Succeed in Business..., The Music Man, and many more. Eddie  is currently pursuing a BS in Musical Theatre Music Direction and a BM in Music Education at Ashland University where he studies piano with the incomparable, Elizabeth M. Pastor. He has studied piano for 13 years and earned straight Superior ratings at OMEA Solo and Ensemble in Class A through middle school and high school. This coming February, Eddie will serve as Music Director for Ashland University's production of one of Stephen Sondheim's more challenging scores, Sunday In The Park With George. Eddie is a brother of the Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Fraternity.
