Hester-NEW

Hester Lewellen is so happy to be doing Show Boat, her 4th show with MSS. Others were Jane Eyre, The Utter Glory of Morrissey Hall, & Me and My Girl. Since retiring from teaching (mathematics) at Baldwin-Wallace, she’s been averaging 4 shows a year. How cool is that! Last year she did Shaw’s Arms and the Man (Catherine Perkoff) at Hawaii-Pacific University, The Producers (Hold-Me Touch Me) and My Fair Lady (Mrs. Pearce) at Beck, Annie (Miss Hannigan) at Willoughby Fine Arts, and, finally, the title role in Christmas Carolyn, a musical retelling of the Scrooge story with Carolyn as the aging diva who abuses all around her until she is visited by 3 spirits--including Ethel Merman. This Cleveland Premiere was an MSS production at the Brooks Theatre at CPH. Thank you, Pierre!
